Personal profile

Personal profile

I am a professor with more than fifteen years of experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in some of the main public and private universities in Peru. Additionally, my experience includes serving as a researcher (RENACYT Level III certified), physician, epidemiologist, statistician, international consultant, and science communicator successfully contributing to the mission of different national and international organizations in both the public and private sectors. Experiences such as founding my own consultancy, studying and working abroad, becoming the main researcher and working for prestigious institutions, are undoubtedly experiences that have enriched me as a professional and as a human being. Those institutions included Guidepoint, FHI360, Food for Hungry, US Naval Medical Research Unit No. 6, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, IETSI-EsSalud, and the Ministry of Health. My dream and life goal is to enjoy a long and productive career as a research teacher, take advantage of my training and personal strengths, and contribute to the public health of my country and the region of the Americas.
